The purpose of any library is to support residents’ need for services, resources and spaces that they don’t have access to individually. In doing so, the patron has access to education/knowledge, employment, federal/state aid, health/financial/historical information, general information, literacy and entertainment to improve their personal state and quality of life. In support of that mission, the Colusa County Free Library’s Literacy Program works to alleviate illiteracy in Colusa County in current and future generations.
